Percy Jackson TV Series in the Works at Disney+, Logan Lerman Reacts

Today was a good day for Percy Jackson stans! Author Rick Riordan announces new Percy Jackson TV series coming to Disney+.

The popular book series Percy Jackson is going to be turned into a television series for Disney+! The book series’ author Rick Riordan has announced that the show is in the early stages of development.


Rick and his wife Becky announced on Twitter: “We can’t say much more at this stage but we are very excited about the idea of a live-action series of the highest quality, following the storyline of the original Percy Jackson five-book series, starting with The Lightning Thief in season one. Rest assured that Becky & I will be involved in person in every aspect of the show.”
 Logan Lerman, who starred in the two movies in the Percy Jackson film franchise, reacted to the news on Twitter. He said, “Excited to see this! Hope it gets the adaptation the books deserve. Congrats @rickriordan.”
