Miley Cyrus Releases '80s-Sounding Disco New Single, "Midnight Sky" with Self-Directed Music Video

Pop music star, Miley Cyrus is ready to reinvent herself in new teaser video for Midnight Sky. She finally drop the single at midnight together with her self-directed music video.


Cyrus new single is Stevie Nicks' 1981 single "Edge of Seventeen" sample. "Midnight Sky" will appear on her seventh studio album titled, "She Is Miley Cyrus."


The 27-year-old “Slide Away” singer first teased part of a new song during an Instagram Live session and then 'She Is Coming' became a popular hashtag on Twitter with over 50K tweets, worldwide after the teasing the fans.

After the released of the song, Miley posted on Twitter some picture from her 2010 music video hit song, "Can't Be Tamed" and currently song with a caption:

"2010: asking for freedom 2020: having her freedom #MidnightSky" 


Miley‘s forthcoming record, tentatively titled She Is Miley Cyrus, is expected to be released sometime later this year. However, in an interview today with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, Miley said that she has no plans to release an album at the moment.
“It doesn't make sense for me to try to wrap up that big of a body of time in just a few songs and even in a record, I really have always enjoyed dropping singles, rather than the full body of work.”

Prior to the release of her latest song, Cyrus and Cody Simpson have broken up, a source has confirmed to E! News. The couple started dating in October after the pop star's relationship with Kaitlynn Carter. Cyrus was also previously engaged to Liam Hemsworth before the pair broke up in August 2019.
