Julia Barretto Leaves Star Magic And Joins Viva Family

Amid the pregnancy issues and controversies, Julia Barretto has now left ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, Star Magic, her agency for almost 14 years. 







On Wednesday (September 30), Viva Artists Agency announced their newest talent, Julia Barretto. 

"We are very pleased to announce that @barrettojulia is the newest gem to our roster of artists! Giving you our warmest welcome, Julia! We are so excited to work with you!" 


In an interview with MJ Felipe (ABS-CBN’s entertainment reporter), Julia said her departure was influenced by the retirement of Star Magic head Mariole Alberto, who will be replaced by Laurenti Dyogi.

The actress also clarifies the rumors that came out that the production team of 'Cara Y Cruz' was caught by surprise with her departure from Star Magic. 

In the end, Julia expressed her gratitude and appreciation to ABS-CBN for the big breaks and career milestones she had with the network.

 


Viva Artists Agency is behind the careers of some of the country’s top stars, including Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo, Vice Ganda, Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli, etc.
