Ryza Cenon Reveals She's Five Months Pregnant

Ryza Cenon is expecting a baby! The 32-year-old VIVA star revealed the big news during an exclusive interview with Pep.ph last June 30. “Buntis po ako,” she said, noting that she is now on her fifth month of pregnancy.


Ryza took to Instagram to share the news as well. Hours ago, she posted a photo clad in an all-black ensemble, flaunting her baby bump. “It’s the small moments that make life big. Happiness is on the way,” she writes in the caption.


According to Ryza, she decided to share it with the public so she won’t have to hide:
"Kung hindi ko rin naman po kasi aaminin ang totoong sitwasyon ko, ako rin naman po ang mahihirapan. Kapag lalabas ka, kailangan mo pang magtago. Mas maganda yung wala kang iniisip kung lumalabas ka or may gusto kang gawin,” she explained. 



The father of her baby is her current beau, Miguel Antonio Cruz, a cinematographer from Bacolod City who is now based in Manila. The two met in June 2019 after having gone to Belgium for her teleserye, ABS-CBN’s The General’s Daughter. The two were introduced by Ryza’s friend, and he courted her for approximately seven months, she said.


Moreover, Ryza also revealed to Pep.ph that the pregnancy-induced "severe hairfall" was the reason behind her drastic hair makeover, a cool pixie cut that wowed her fans and netizens alike.
