On Tuesday, April 21, Marian and Dingdong were among several artists who were part of a fundraising event for “no-work, no-pay” film workers affected by the enhanced quarantine community in response to COVID-19.
A monologue by Elsa from the movie 'Himala' was given by the Kapuso Primetime Queen as her mister served as director.
Some netizens have confirmed Marian's ability to reap admirable praise, Including Aiko Melendez.
"Ang galing mo and ang galing din ni @dongdantes ung intercutting ng present to past and ung pag explain nya sa eksena napaka linaw :) mahusay!!!" - Aiko Melendez wrote. She also defends Marian for some people who's not satisfied with Kapuso star's acting.
"@annie5302001 i beg to disagree on your comment, her attack was more on internal and based on emotions. She gave a different take on that piece which i appreciate kasi un ang delicate kapag gagawa ka remake so sa knya she gave her on take on that scene. Which i find great... this is my own opinion too. Thank you for your compliment on my acting skills thats why i should know better ❤️ Peace ."
"@rey.na1228 madami dn naman akong artistang kaibigan pero di ko pinupuri kapag di ako nagagalingan tlaga. I must say me taste dn naman ako nagalingan ako ke marian opinion ka yan so they must respect it. ❤️"Marian Rivera-Dantes join the conversation too and express gratitude to Aiko for defending her, Aiko replied again to stand with her opinion about Kapuso Star acting.
"@aikomelendez salamat ate 😘 puro fake acct 😅 #spreadLove ❤️" - Marian Wrote.
"@marianrivera i stand by my opinion! You were good and so as Dingdong ❤️ " - Aiko wrote.
